Big Dog!
Big dog got kicked by an invisible leg! Learnt more about shifting weights for a 3D object, realised it can be rather hard sometimes I guess? Lots of details to be included and stuff, but the process was really fun! To complete this subject, you need to have a little sense of realism and also good observations skills when referring to the actual video of "Big Dog".
Funny thing though, the background for bigdog before I placed him in a cube was rather weird, like when I zoomed out, bigdog was behind a panel (the background?), but the panel appears to move away when I zoom closer to bigdog.

Progressive Journal 1
Done with modelling and inputting the sound!
Somehow uploading this video took super long for some reason, facial expressions and all are not added in yet.

Medival Warrior

My Medival Soilder, I chose to use simple colors as they aren't supposed to be too flashy. (Except for that badass hammer.)
The Helmet, at first I wanted to use gold with silver lines but it looked too "Power Ranger" to be medival.Tuesday, January 4, 2011
My first 3D movie Cinematic experience

Although I cannot remember when I first put on my 3D glasses to watch movies, I can however, remember the first 3D movie I watched in the Cinemas. I was only 11 then and went to watch "The Incredibles", a superhero movie that all kids at my age then would like.
Being the first 3D movie I've watched, I can still remember how amazed I was when everything was in 3D, however, after attending the second lesson of week 1, I realised that animators could actually create the background in 3D to save time and effort, so perhaps not everything was done in 3D back then as well I guess.
However, the incredibles have nice characters with very realistic expressions but however not losing their "cartoon" feel and appearence. I think its very nicely done for something that's done almost ten years ago.
My favourite Animation Movie

Recently I have watched a movie called Tron: Legacy, a new movie created that induces 3D into it. Storyline aside, the special 3D effects are probably one of the best around for the 20th century. I would give it a 5 out of 5 for special effects alone. √√√√√ :)
The effects are actually so good that they blend in with the surroundings of the "real world" in the show. And also, in tron there's a part of the film whereby the main characters enter a world which is entirely made up of 3D, which i found very amazing as the actors in the film blend in nicely with the show. Unlike some shows whereby it is obvious to tell what is read and what's 3D, tron is able to distort your judgement with their realistic 3D models and animations.
